St Mary's has been the parish church for the local community since the early 1300s, although records show the first rector as Thomas de St. Albans, appointed in 1237. Our friendly church is situated in a rural setting, on the edge of North Mymms Park. It is a quiet oasis off the busy A1 (M) serving the communities of Brookmans Park and Welham Green.

You can find us on the extension of Dixon's Hill Road, which is the road going towards Colney Heath and St. Albans from Welham Green. Welham Green is the location of St. Mary's Church of England Primary School which has close links with the church. You can find further information about the school on their website.

2005 saw North Mymms becoming part of the Bishop's Hatfield Team Ministry together with the four Anglican Hatfield Churches and St. John's the Evangelist in Lemsford.

Children are always welcome in church and are a valued part of our church family.

Junior Church is proving increasingly popular, with the children leaving the congreagation after the first hymn, and rejoining them for communion towards the end of the Service. In the intervening time they pursue activities in the Parish Room.

A new venture for 2013 is a family friendly service once a month at 11.15am when the whole family can be together for a non-Eucharistic service.

Our main Sunday Service is at 9.30 am. Each Sunday we also have an 8.00 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) and Evensong at 6.30 pm on the first Sunday of each month.
